Vegetarian Cheese & Herb Sunblest Macaroni Tart

Ingredients


  • . 400 g Puff Pastry
  • . 150 g Sunblest
  • . 1 Green Chilli (finely chopped)
  • . 150 g Cheddar Cheese (Grated)
  • . 4 Eggs
  • . 425 ml Milk
  • . Pinch of Mustard Powder
  • . Pinch of Salt to taste
  • . Pinch of Pepper to taste
  • . Parsley (finely chopped)

Method


  • 01. Roll the puff pastry and line a greased dish (18x28x4cm). Cut off the excess. Prick the base and sides and finish off the edge shell style. Place in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  • 02. Boil the Sunblest Macaroni as per instructions. In salt water to soft.
  • 03. Mix the chilli, cheese and macaroni.
  • 04. Spoon the mixture into the lined puff pastry dish.
  • 05. Whisk the eggs, milk, mustard powder, salt and pepper and pour over the macaroni mixture.
  • 06. Pre-heat the oven to 190°C. Bake for 45-60 minutes.
  • 07. Cut into slices and garnish with chopped parsley.
