. 1 pkt Basil leaves (3/4 finely chopped and the rest left whole for Garish)
. 1 tablespoon dried Oregano
. 2 tablespoon Tomato puree
. 1 Beef stock cube
. 6 cherry Tomatoes (sliced in half)
Method
01. Warm up a medium saucepan on medium heat with the oil.
02. Add 4 finely chopped bacon rashers and fry for 10 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
03. Reduce the heat and add the onions, carrots and garlic and rosemary, then fry for 10 minutes.
04. Stir the veg often until it softens.
05. Increase the heat to medium-high, add the beef mince and cook stirring fore 3-4 minutes until the meat is browned all over.
06. Add plum tomatoes, the finely chopped basil, oregano and tomato puree, beef stock and 6 halved cherry tomatoes. Stir with a spoon, breaking up the plum tomatoes.
07. Bring to the boil, reduce to a gentle simmer and over with a lid. Cook for 1 hour 15 minutes stirring occasionally.
08. When the Bolognese is nearly finished, cook Sunblest spaghetti following the instructions.
09. Drain the spaghetti and either stir into the Bolognese sauce or serve the sauce on top.
